My families, the Harkeys and the Smiths, were early pioneers and settlers in this area. They farmed along the flowing water of Wallace Creek and fought the Indians on a daily basis. They helped to form the county and were officers of the court and lawmen. They are on the first Federal Census of 1860.

I was not privileged to have been born here. My parents decided to move to Corpus Christi to work in the oil fields and that is where I was born. I grew up thinking that San Saba was home because that was where my families were. So as soon as I could, I moved “home”. I met and married a local man and we have raised our children here. For many years I worked in a local

bank. I had acquired my real estate license in 1984before I went to work for the bank.

In 2002, I went to work full time for a wonderful broker. He taught me a great deal about working with people and how to show all types of properties. As a result, I began to have a desire to get my broker’s license. So I went back to school to do just that. The main reason was to see if I could, and I did.

Then I began to think about having my own office. One day I found the perfect place and now I am there. I would like to personally invite you to come by or call me if you have any real estate needs that I can help you with. My motto is “If we don’t have it, we will find it!”
